What is the Framed Infill Network?

The Framed Infill Network is an international network of earthquake engineering researchers and professionals interested in making concrete frames with infill walls safer during earthquakes. The Earthquake Engineering Research Institute supports the network through its Endowment Fund, and the network coordinates closely with other EERI initiatives such as the World Housing Encyclopedia and Confined Masonry Network.  The National Academies provided seed funding for the Framed Infill Network through the Pakistan-US Science and Technology Cooperation Program. GeoHazards International facilitates the network.

If you are interested in participating in network activities, please contact GeoHazards International Project Manager Dr. Janise Rodgers at rodgers@geohaz.org.
